MORE CUTTING AREA. LESS FLOOR SPACE.

DESIGNED FOR ONEFINITY 4×4 FOREMAN AND 4×8 FULL-EIGHT MACHINES

Whether you're running a 4×4 Onefinity Foreman CNC or stepping up to a massive 4×8 machine with the FULL-EIGHT Auto-Tiling System, the Slant Base is designed to accommodate both configurations.

By positioning your CNC at an angle rather than horizontally, the Slant Base significantly reduces its footprint while maintaining access to your machine's cutting area.

It's a perfect solution for:

  • Small workshops and garages

  • Shops with limited floor space

  • Businesses looking to maximize available workspace

  • Anyone who wants big CNC capabilities without sacrificing valuable shop space

FIXED-ANGLE DESIGN

The Slant Base features a sturdy, fixed-angle design built to support your CNC in its slanted position.

Important: The Slant Base is fixed at one angle. It does not adjust, tilt between positions, or fold down into a horizontal configuration.

EASY MOBILITY WITH FOUR LEVELING CASTERS

Just because your CNC is big doesn't mean it has to stay in one place!

The Slant Base includes four leveling casters, allowing you to easily move and reposition your CNC around your workshop.

Once you've found the perfect spot, simply use the built-in ratcheting system on each caster to lower the leveling feet, securely stabilizing your machine and keeping it sturdy, level, and firmly in place while you work.

Move it where you need it, secure it in position, and make the most of every square foot!

INCLUDED X-AXIS BRAKING MOTOR FOR ELITE MACHINES

When operating a CNC at an angle, gravity becomes an important consideration.

That's why the Slant Base includes a 2Nm closed-loop X-axis braking motor for compatible Onefinity Elite machines using MASSO or RealTime/Redline control systems.

This motor replaces your existing X-axis motor and features an integrated brake designed to prevent the X-axis from sliding downward under gravity when the machine is powered off.

Please note: The included braking motor is compatible with both MASSO and RealTime/Redline Elite machines. It is not compatible with Buildbotics-controlled machines.

WHAT'S INCLUDED?

Your Onefinity Slant Base Kit includes:

IMPORTANT COMPATIBILITY INFORMATION

Onefinity Elite Machines (MASSO / RealTime / Redline)

The included 2Nm closed-loop braking motor replaces the existing X-axis motor and helps prevent unwanted X-axis movement caused by gravity when the machine is powered off.

The braking motor is confirmed compatible with both MASSO and RealTime/Redline Elite control systems.

Buildbotics (BB) Controlled Machines

Buildbotics-controlled machines must jog their X-axis to the lowest position before powering off to prevent the axis from dropping due to gravity.

Additionally, users must change the X-axis motor's Idle Current setting from 1 amp to 2 amps in the motor settings.

The included 2Nm braking motor is not compatible with Buildbotics control systems.

JTech Laser Compatibility

  • Compatible: JTech 7W and 14W lasers.

  • NOT Compatible: JTech 24W, 34W, 44W, and 64W lasers due to their built-in tilt sensors.

RapidChange EASY ATC Compatibility

The RapidChange EASY ATC, in its current form, may require modifications to operate reliably with the SLANT Base.

Our in-house testing has produced good results, and we're now awaiting feedback from our beta testers. We're confident that full compatibility will be achieved and don't foresee any significant obstacles.

Should design changes be necessary, we'll do our best to make upgrade kits available to existing EASY ATC customers.

We're continuing to refine and validate the design and will share additional compatibility and upgrade details once testing is complete.

IMPORTANT ASSEMBLY & SAFETY INFORMATION

Assembly of the Slant Base requires a minimum of two physically capable adults to safely lift and position components weighing 80+ lbs overhead during installation.

Three or more adults are strongly recommended to make assembly easier, safer, and more manageable.

Do not attempt assembly alone.

MORE CUTTING AREA. LESS FLOOR SPACE. FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

Can the Slant Base be adjusted or laid flat?

No. The Slant Base features a fixed-angle design. It does not adjust or convert into a horizontal stand.

Does the same Slant Base work with both 4×4 and 4×8 machines?

Yes! The Slant Base is designed for Onefinity 4×4 Foreman and 4×8 FULL-EIGHT CNC configurations.

Can I move my machine with the Slant Base?

Yes! Four included leveling casters allow you to easily move and reposition your CNC around your workshop. Once in place, simply use the built-in ratcheting system on each caster to lower the leveling feet, keeping your machine sturdy, level, and securely in position.

Why is a replacement X-axis motor included?

Because the CNC is positioned at an angle, gravity can cause the X-axis to move downward when power is removed. The included Elite-compatible braking motor prevents this unwanted movement.

Will the Slant Base work with my Buildbotics-controlled Onefinity?

Yes. Buildbotics-controlled machines can use the Slant Base, but users must change the X-axis motor's Idle Current setting from 1 amp to 2 amps and jog the X-axis to the lowest position before powering off.

The included braking motor is not compatible with Buildbotics control systems.

Can I use my JTech laser with the Slant Base?

JTech 7W and 14W lasers are compatible. The 24W, 34W, 44W, and 64W models are not compatible because of their built-in tilt sensors.

Is the Slant Base compatible with the RapidChange EASY ATC?

The RapidChange EASY ATC, in its current form, may require modifications to operate reliably with the SLANT Base. More work is being done to ensure reliable tool changes.

Does the Slant Base include the Foreman QCW?

No. The Foreman QCW is required for the 4×4 configuration and must be purchased separately. The Slant Base includes four Foreman QCW mounting brackets for the 4×4 configuration.

Does this include a CNC machine?

No. This listing is for the Slant Base Kit only. The CNC machine is sold separately.
